Are you concerned by statements about potential election fraud in the upcoming midterm elections? Do you worry that your vote will be counted accurately? Do you want to explain to your friends and family why voting is secure? The Board of Elections Department of Monroe County (BOE) is responsible for administering elections in Monroe County. The BOE is administered by two Commissioners of Elections, Peter Elder (Republican Commissioner) and Jackie Ortiz (Democratic Commissioner). At this in-person forum, the two Commissioners will explain the processes that make our votes secure and accurate. They will answer questions from the audience.
