Studies have shown people are more likely to vote if they have a plan to vote. At this event we will explore the conversations and other tools available to encourage people to finalize their plan to vote. And we will have fun! This session is designed especially for people who are new to voter outreach efforts but want to help ensure high turnout for the midterm elections.
We will provide information on the various voting methods and times; how to help people prepare for whichever method is best for them; and the requirements for each. And we will have cookies! If the thought of talking to people about voting is scary, we may help you overcome that fear. However we will also provide Voter Outreach ideas that do not require talking to people. Please encourage others interested in Voter Outreach efforts to register and attend.
