Event Description
You may have read about the amazing community response in support of immigrants in Minneapolis. Locally, such work is largely being driven by the Rochester Rapid Response Network. RRRN is a Rochester-area mutual aid group formed to support immigrants facing detention or deportation by engaging in community-based strategic actions and public education guided by directly affected immigrant families. Their work has several parts:
  • Advocacy: create and support public campaigns to advocate for individuals and immigrant rights.
  • Accompaniment: help our neighbors access DMV, medical, and other governmental appointments.
  • Emergency Response: Rapid response to situations of detainment and detention.
Come and learn more about how to resist the sweeping authoritarian power of ICE.
