Event Description
Join our zoom call to learn about the proposition on the ballot this year to amend the NY Constitution. It will expand the classes protected from government discrimination to include:
  • Age
  • Disability
  • Ethnicity
  • National Origin
  • Sex (including gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation)
  • Will prohibit government actions that impede a person’s reproductive freedom
  • Will codify abortion, miscarriage management, and gender-affirming care in our state constitution
We'll learn about what's contained in the amendment and why we need the amendment. We'll go on to spend a substantial part of the meeting discussing how to reach voters to make sure they know about the amendment and understand the stakes.
